Be sure to check out the Writers Of Our Tomorrow (WOOT) web site. It's a great place to leave your own creative writing and read the writings of others. Consider it you own online literary coffee shop.

My favorite German dictionary on the Web is BeoLingus, based at a technical university in Chemnitz. This Woertebuch features unique letters, pronunciation guides--everything you could need to figure out a tough word.

I like the easy interface, too, but that's just me!

bryan anderson

Students in English 3 recently read an interview with Bryan Anderson, a triple-amputee from the Iraq War. The March issue of Esquire Magazine had a follow-up feature on Bryan and his efforts to use his prosthetic limbs efffectively. You can also find pictures and videos.
